After receiving some feedback on my work so far I have decided to expand my idea from just looking at Brutalism around leeds to looking at the other building as a contrast. Leeds has such wide range of building so I would like to show off this contrast.
My next step is to go out and do some more research on the buildings around leeds, i think i need to go and photograph buildings such as the markets and along Briggate that are very ornate and a big contrast to the brutalist archetecture.

DEFINITION OF BRUTALISM
Brutalist architecture tends to be offices, cheap housing, schools, universities and amenities such as shopping centres.Brutalist buildings are usually formed with repeated modular elements forming masses representing specific functional zones, distinctly articulated and grouped together into a unified whole. Concrete is used for its raw and unpretentious honesty

BRUTALISM
I found this article on the Brutalist Architecture around Leeds and it has inspired me to go out and photograph as many buildings as I could. The geometric aesthetic of these buildings look really nice photographed although they are contravertial as many people beleive the are harsh and ugly.
