After reading the book and watching the film, i decided to focus my book covers around the themes that I came across during researching the book.

My initial ideas came in the form of thumbnail sketches. these quick ideas gave me an idea on the content of my bookcover aswell as layout. These sketches gave me an idea of the order of priority with the typography and images. From these thumbnail sketches i have come to the conclusion that the book title needs to be prioritised before the authours name. the typography will fit around the illustrations. i also like the idea of having the illustrations spread across the whole spread in order for it to be seen. I will use bold typography to contrast with the illusrations and help the title stand out.
