BUSINESS CARDS

Once I had finalised the logo with Elzbieta, it was reletively simple for me to quickly transfer this into a business card design. I had used black for my experimentations so far, but elzbieta asked if we could try some different colours as she didn't want to use black. She wanted to use a green colour.

We discussed how she wanted the business cards. She wanted some sort of user involvement from them, so we thought about having the cards hold the photographs for people to pull out. She also said she wanted the business cards to be square.

We tried out a test run, The cards came out much smaller than we thought and also the colour was too green. Testing out different layout options and also how the photos will slot inside.

Ela wanted to try adding a hint of yellow into the design but I advised her that this didn't work.

My final mockup designs for the business cards were rectangular with pullout images of her work.

Testing

Testing the printed size allows me to know what will look best as previous variations have come out a lot smaller than intended.
