ZADS GUILT FREE TAKEAWAY
After deciding i want to brand a vegan takeaway for my outcome i did some research on existing concepts and have found a takeaway in Manchester that does just what i want to do.
Zad's Serves traditional greasy takeaway food that is fully vegan. The burgers are made from soya while hot dogs use seitan, also known as wheat gluten, which is high in protein yet has almost no saturated fat. 50p from each sale is donated to local vegan organisations and charities.
The branding of Zad's is based on the 'guilt free' element rather than the fact that it is vegan. This is good because it promotes the healthy lifesyle that veganism can bring without the stigma of the word 'vegan'
“Whilst it’s easy to think that our target market and customer base is geared towards vegans, what we actually hope to do is show those who do not follow a vegan diet how amazing the food can be.
“We’ve all seen the memes and heard the jokes about what vegans eat and Zad’s is there to show that living a cruelty free lifestyle doesn’t have to mean giving up your favourite foods.”
PIZZA EXPRESS
When in Pizza express the other week i noticed they offer a great vegan option on their pizzas. They have won the Peta Vegan Food Awards.
WAGAMAMA
wagamama's has a dietary requirements menu where you can order vegan meals that still look just as appetising and the normal menu.
