Firstly I took my sketches into photoshop and gave them some colour to add depth and detail, I then used these to form the basis of my design development. i started out with just simple explorations looking into layout and the highrachy of information, I decided that the image was the most inportant part of the cover as it draws people in, and then the title of the book and then the autors name and any other information. I then started leading on from the first deigns, I experimented with the background colour but decided I dont like this and the background should be plain so it does not distract from the rest of the design. For my final experimentations, I played around with zooming up the images and fitting the typography around the images. This way deinately works best and the colour scheme is really nicely contrasting.
