I am creating Elzabeita Cybulska from photography's personal branding. Ela's work is varied as she is still finding her style. From talking we decided it would be best to stick to one aspect of her work that she is most likely to pursue after university. Her work features women soldiers
Ela wants:
-A logo
-A business card with some sort of interaction from the user.
-An expensive well finished portfolio that she can take to interviews and show potential clients and employers
-Cheaper disposable portfolios in letter format that she can send to people to get their attention.
We discussed the style of work that she likes, she showed me some examples of work that she likes the look of to give me some ideas. I am happy that she wants something clean and modern as it is my style of working. The design needs to complement the work and not take away from it. This means we much use minimal imagery and i feel that a strong use of typography will work best. Looking at her very set style of work we must create something that shows off its individuality.
My first action will be to create the logo. I think that a monogram of her name would work well for her logo as it is simple and clean. I have found some examples of monograms of EC, her initials. They show a good range of ways the two letter can fit together in a logo.
